Typical Dialogue:
[top]Biography:
Kaela Isilviere is the wife of Aeric Boeruine and the daughter of Gaelin Isilviere. Their son is Derwyn Boeruine and their daughter is Fhiele Boeruine.
Always a willful child, Kaela does not allow anyone to make decisions for her or thwart her aims. Her mother, Aerona Avan, has taught her that more is won with honey than with vinegar, and Kaela has cultivated the ways of mediation and manipulation rather than confrontation. Kaela is a good hearted soul and would prefer to persuade everyone with reason and charm than trick them or coerce them, but when people refuse to see reason or continue to defy her, she is not above manipulation to achieve her ends.
Like her father, she values learning and especially history. She has read his books and is something of a scholar herself. More than one adviser to the Archduke has found himself confronted with facts and examples that humbled his proposals.
As a child, she played with her brothers and as a noblewoman is capable of wearing armor and bearing proper arms. Even so, since becoming a woman she has put these things aside, with the exception of horseback riding, which she continues to enjoy. She fences from time to time, but not frequently enough to be a true proficient.
As a mother, she has proved loving and indulgent, spoiling her children with every kindness but no discipline.
As a member of the Isilviere family she is a part of Isilviere Castle, as well as Seaharrow Hall, her husband's household.
