Hail to you goodfolk!

The following stories about Moergan and Wilfred are based upon the adventures of two PCs from an old BR campaign I ran some years ago (1997-2000). The stories are NOT an attempt to recreate what happened in exact detail, but all the major events are described more or less as they happened.

The campaign lasted a very long time (both in real time and in campaign time), but it only ever had two players (not strictly true, we had a few guest appearances as well), both of whom still play BR, so I think they enjoyed the campaign as much as I did

The main character was Moergan Shaeme, a young and spoiled noble from Diemed. Moergan ran away from Diemed to avoid a marriage arranged by his father, Lord Jaison Shaeme, the Duke of Diemed's Chancellor and closest confidante. Moergan was played by long-time role-player Torleif Vaage.

His sidekick was Wilfred Isilviere, a bastard born to old General Vaesin Isilviere of Fairfield (in Roesone) by a Khinasi courtesan. Publicly recognized by his father, Wilfred still had to flee Roesone to avoid being murdered by his legitimate brothers. Wilfred was played by Torbjørn Mæhle.

Some of the material that appears in this thread are taken from my old "The Goblin" thread, which began as a single short story, but eventually grew very cluttered as I added more bits and pieces. So I eventually decided to make a new and more structured thread instead.
