pirate

A pirate is someone who commits warlike acts at sea without the authorization of any realm. There are several pirate nations, including the Zweilunds in the Overlook and Mieres in Anuire.

Similarly, a pirate lord may be considered regent of a guild or a law holding and contest sea trade routes.
