Caelcorwynn is the court wizard of Rhuannach. His home is at Caeldun in Allaight, which is the center of his source network. He is occasionally known as Caelcorwynn Taeligris ("Nimble Fingers") for the artistic way in which he casts his spells using primarily his fingers.
He is close friends with the High Lady and regent Fiona bragh Garradhgynn and Cidre bint Corina. His main rival in Rhuannach is an outsider, Dashid the Astronomer, the Lamia's mage. Dashid and Caelcorwynn are fighting for control of the source holdings in the border provinces of their lands. Dashid has already won control of a few in Garradh and removed Caelcorwynn's control from Fhiellewyn. However, Calecorwynn intends to win it back using the resources he still has in the province as well as the leylines connected to his base of power at Caeldun.
