Biography:

Rhuandice Tuarlachiem has devoted her life to defending against incursions into the Aelvinnwode. She has spent centuries tracking down and killing those who despoil the forest. She knows that the Aelvinnwode belongs to the elves and regards the humans as an infestation. The humans have destroyed the forest and the magical nature of the land, and still they come. Treaties with them are worthless. They cannot be trusted to honor their agreements. They must receive equal punishment for what they destroy; it is only just, and the only way they will learn.

Rhuandice hates humans, but reserves her greatest hatred for goblins and other humanoids. For centuries she was Tuarhievel's Master of Bow and Saddle. When intruders violated the Sidhe forest, no less the Gorgon's minions, Rhuandice led the defenders of the Aelvinnwode, trapping the invaders with ambushes in which a whole elf army seemed to fall on them at once. She even led her soldiers into Markazor, where they put villages and encampment to the sword by the dozens.

Rhuandice is committed to the principles of the gheallie Sidhe, and will not hesitate to resolve by means of violence that which might have been resolved some other way. As Fhilerwyn Llyrandor attempted to move elven policy toward more subtle means, Rhuandice found herself undermined. Indeed, she believed the very defense of Tuarhievel was at risk. When Queen Ibelcoris Llyrandor abolished the gheallie Sidhe and opened the realm to humans, Rhuandice could not serve with honor any longer, and resigned her office as war captain. For several decades, she bid her time before the failing of politics and diplomacy demonstrated the absolute necessity of the gheallie Sidhe.

Rhuandice began quietly reassembling the most dedicated Sidhelien to once again form the the gheallie Sidhe. Since then, she has directed her considerable energies against human incursions into Tuarhievel and the most vile abuses of the forest in Dhoesone. When Talinie seemed to abandon its mediocre respect for at least the superficial aspects of the forest, and embraced the rapacious guilds, it was Rhuandice who pushed the Llywodraeth Cynulliad into threats of war if the foolish humans did not change their ways. Unfortunately, though little has improved, it was not war, but the schemes of the cynlluniau Sidhe that were undertaken. Torele Anviras was sent to coerce Talinie to its senses. His success falls short of what a thousand swords could do. The more careful members of the council plead patience, and wish to avoid an all out war with the humans, but such a war is exactly what Rhuandice believes is required. The offense that is Cariele must be cleansed and the forests of Dhoesone will then easily be restored. Even so, Rhuandice needs the support of the whole of Tuarhievel and perhaps agreements with the Sielwode and Rhuobhe before a general war is possible, so she waits until a strong and fearless elf sits on the Thorn Throne or until the cautious faction of the cynlluniau Sidhe is finally ready to take action.
