Aelvinnwode

In the old tongue of the Andu, Aelvinnwode simply means "elven wood." Once this vast northern forest was home to dozens of shining elven kingdoms where no human had ever set foot. Having driven the elves from their homes after arriving nearly 2000 years ago, large tracts of this forest are now farmland inhabited by humans. The only elven realm to survive here is the powerful kingdom of Tuarhievel. As other elven kingdoms fell to the humans, the surviving elves took refuge there as well as in the Sielwode and Rhuobhe. Many still harbor bitter hatred for the humans who drove them from their lands and destroyed their forests.
