Calm yourself cousin, so they blundered through the glade you like so well - the flowers will regrow, the grass straighten - does not the same occur each time a bear lumbers by?
Perhaps master merchant, if you spoke of how your endeavors will aid your people, rather than of the gold which will line your pockets, you would find us more eager to escort you to safety.
Niobhe won an odd token in a recent game of chance - a stone marked with odd glyphs. Since then she has tried to discover the origin of the stone - and the strange magic she can feel within it. Several battles with goblins of the Red Fist clan have convinced her that the stone is probably more trouble than it is worth, but she is concerned about what will happen if the goblins get hold of it.
Niobhe is quite shy around humans - she simply doesn't understand them well, in particular their habit of keeping grudges and concealing their feelings is utterly alien to her. Niobhe has a habit of mothering humans that she meets - quite how someone just 2 decades old can be considered adult is bizarre to her - and the constant upsets and feuds she sees on her patrols has convinced her that most human problems arise simply because they are all children...
Niobhe found out recently that Aedric Nolien's hall boasts a rare trophy - an elven spear, carved from dragonbone long ago. While Niobhe is quite relaxed for a sidhe, the idea of an old treasure of the elves gathering dust in a human hall when the sidhe are pressed by enemies on all sides is deeply irritating to her. Obviously the spear needs to be recovered, the only question is how the fiery Count could be persuaded to part with 'his grandfather's spear'.
