Renaissance is a term to approximate the level of technological, organizational, productive and social complexity of a society. The Anuireans, Brecht and Khinasi are best described as renaissance cultures.
Renaissance technology is roughly similar to the technology available in Europe between 1400 AD and 1600 AD.
Renaissance organizations are typically administrative with formal offices supported by bureaucracy to assist province and domain leaders. Loyalty is more abstract, vested in an office rather than a person.
Renaissance agriculture productivity is four-thirds greater than Medieval productivity, and double Dark Age productivity.
