Equipment: Nina has the resources of the entire College of Sorcery for her use, and therefore has any equipment deemed necessary by the DM, including magical items and spell components.
Description:
Since Nina has taken her position as a member of the Council 10 years ago, she has more than proved that she is adequate for the job. When she is performing her duties as a council member, Nina is severe in demeanor, and she rarely lets any detail slip by. She has a charming side to her, but seldom lets that slip through, since she is also rather serious about her job and doesn't let herself rest from performing her duties too often.
Nina is well suited for her role as Justiciar of the College of Sorcery. Typically, her duties involve overseeing the punishment meted out to unruly students who disobey College law, as well as to those outside the College who abuse their gift of power as a practicioner of magic. Nina, as Justiciar, is also responsible for rulings involving the law codes of the College and for overseeing revisions to these laws in relation to the City and its working legal relationship to this institution.
Nina dislikes attending the council meetings of the College of Sorcery, for she believes that a lot of the other members are either too niave (like Treven) or too self-centered and cliquish (like Azusena). With this attitude, Nina usually voices her opinions on Council decisions based on the letter of the existing College law. This method hasn't made her too many friends within the Council, and with her strict disciplinarian attitude is not very well liked within the student body either. Nina dismisses this problem, believing that her responsibilities to her job outweigh concerns about making friends within her career as a wizard of the College of Sorcery.
