Jadrien Lavalier is the Sacred Minister of Riverford for the Northern Reformed Church of Sarimie. Jadrien Lavalier is a younger daughter from a petty noble house in Ghoere. Her family has been devoted to Sarimie for some time, despite the death of her father during a dispute with a tenant over exploitation of rents. Jadrien was advised by her brother, Jason, to seek out a position in the younger Northern Reformed Church, because there would be greater opportunities in a young growing temple. She has recently been promoted to Sacred Minister of Riverford.
