So, one of my players, King of Aerenwe, decided that he's in Love with Baroness Marla Roesone. He wants to marry her. The arrangement would be that they marry, but keep their own crown, then their son/daughter will inherit the whole realm.
Meanwhile, Duchess Eirene Mierelen is trying to place her sons/daughters in all the south - he already made his son marry Lasica Diem, and the death of the baron during the *Family Matters* adventure put Ectarius Mierelen as the new Baron. Now the Duchess wants to marry her first-born girl to the king of Aerenwe, so that the Mierelen family, one way or another, will reunite all the south under the golden Eel.
My question is, how hard should I make this? Would Marla agree to such marriage, politically speaking? What should weight in favor? what should not?
