Rjurik Highlands » King
King (feminine: Queen) is a title among the Rjurik which identifies the ruler of a realm. The origin of the word is related to "kin" suggesting that the word has its origin as clan leader or ruler of a kinship group.
The word has come into Anuirean to mean any sovereign ruler. In Anuire, any ruler of a realm is referred to as a king, whether their title is duke, baron or even count.
