BI>If a PC wizard is able to convince another NPC wizard to relinquish
BI>claim to sources, does the PC wizard simply inherit those sources at
BI>their current levels (those built-up by the NPC) with all associated ley
BI>lines or does the PC wizard have to go through the lengthy process of
BI>"getting to know the land, finding the sources of magic, and building up
BI>the source levels" for each particular province? This came up in our
BI>game due to the fact that other regents (not wizards) used tactics to
BI>take over other NPC owned guild and law holdings, without destroying the
BI>foundations for those holdings. The PC wizard felt that it would be
BI>quite unfair that he would be forced to go through the time consuming
BI>process of source location and fortification while others simply
BI>absorbed or invested foreign holdings into their own portfolios.

If the sources get invested, then they would be a current level.
Otherwise, I would make them build from scratch.
