    Centaurs

Guess I wasn't that clear. The players assumed that there were no centaurs and thus were suprised by their presence. They were very concerned how centaurs being allied with the Elves would shift the balance of power in the area (not knowing how many, but knowing that centaurs and elves got along)and also what other creatures may be lurking there after the startling development of a race that the assumed did not exist on Cerilia.

We have several different tribes based on equine type and climate. In plains areas like those found in Africa, we've introduced a tribe based on zebra body type. In grassy steppes/plains, you have traditional centaurs, but horse bodies tending to be on the large side, do not move through thick forest easily, so whenever encountered they tend to be in lightly forested areas or tribal compounds on the open plains. Some are nomadic, some are stationary, it depends on their surroundings and resources. Each group also has a different tech level, some are skilled armour and weapon smiths, others have more of a stone age feel just like historical cultures.

We have them situated in Aduria North to central portion of the continent. There are some that exist in Cerilia, but came to the continent before Deismaar.

Aduria is a nice place for Centaurs to be from. They
would really cool "barbarian mercenaries" that an
Anuirean realm could hire...most likely Darien Avan
since he has some control over what small presence
Anuire has in northern Aduria...but even Medeore,
Ilien or Roesone could use them.

I still think they should have small numbers in
Aerenwe because of that lands ancient wood...and they
make excellent servants of the High Mage Aelies!

I think that centaurs are savage like gnolls so they aren't loyal servant. They fight for loot only.
