Thread: Special Power for some clerics

A subtle re-working of the Evasion feat might be useful for some clerics.
For example:
Laerme`s Evasion: At X level, a cleric of Laerme is better able to evade
fire attacks. If exposed to any fire effect that allows a saving throw for
half damage (such as a fireball), she takes no damage with a successful
saving throw. It is a supernatural ability.
You could do the same with Cuiraécen and electrical attacks, Kriesha and
cold attacks. Its an alternative to Resistance. Perhaps its more common
among the so called paladins than among clerics. There could also be an
Improved Evasion version as well.

May be, not a too bad idea, but Cuiraécen's priests (2nd Edition) have electicity AND cold resistance...

What's about a deity-specific prestige class....

You might wish to rename it and link to a Will Save and not a Reflex
Save. This would make it actually useful to most priests given their
normally low Reflex Saves. It also indicates that it is more a
connection with the mystical than an agility based thing.

I didn`t link it to any save. By reducing the power of the feat from all
evasions to only evasions of a specific type, I expanded the saving throw
opportunities. Priests of Kriesha have the advantage against cold, no
matter whether that cold is an attack against her fortitude or willpower, or
a thing that can be dodged reflexively.

Aha! Cunning.
I still think that a rename might be in order though, if only to make
things simple and to mitigate potential confusion.

A german homepage had a prestige-class collection for every cerilian deity. A pitty that they cancelled it because of some licence problems...
