    Questions-Fealty and Vassalage

Oh it did Jim. I guess my post came off as snobby then. I was just glad to
have someone with more knowledge on the whole thing to fill in details on a
feudal system available. As for private emial, I'd need your address or you
can respond to this one. But I was serious about you posting to the list
with anything you might have on feudalism and fealty. Sometimes us fantasy
lovers need a touch of reality (history) to bring us back in line. And my
main area is WWII with dabblings in higher politics of the Rome to the
modern times. The lower level stuff usually got filed away for future
reference and is probably a little mixed up. Like my take on possible lines
of vassalage. Anyway, sorry again if I sounded snobby.

    Questions-Fealty and Vassalage

    At 12:17 AM 1/2/98 -0800, Jim Cooper(

    >I hope nobody took offence about me posting this to the general list
    >(or you, either, Sam!) - I just wanted to reply to Samual Weiss' question
    >[about vassals and regents(nobles)] and show Sam that what he was saying
    >was impossible by explaining how this feudalism stuff happened back then
    in medieval
    >Sorry, guys.

Don't apologize. This type of discussion is right on-topic for BR. If you
have any additional pearls of wisdom you can toss us on this (or any
confusing Historical facts), please do. I know I found your Post
enlightening, and I'm sure others did as well. So like I said, keep us on
our toes and make sure we get our facts straight. Thanks for the info.
