This post will come as a surprise to a few of you. I hate what you are doing! I love Birthrights ideas but never liked the way they played out. I lost many friends over this game because it is slow and boring.
Sure the idea of being a king is great, but not when the rules lag a DM enough that role-playing becomes impossible. The people who are running the revision have no vision. They (yah you!) are missing what is truly important here.
Okay, so Cerilia IS one of the most beautifully detailed gaming worlds. Does that mean that there are no realms on any other worlds. My point is why is Birthright a campain setting and not a d20 supplement. Oh and before you go criticizing me for not thinking this through understand I have been playing it since its release.
Here is my vision. Massive Strategy Rulership for d20 Fantasy.. Birthright without Cerilia. Go ahead and release Birthright if you want but my game can be used in Anybody's Campain world. Resource management that's fast and abstract. Emphasis on actions and not collection. War rules rooted straight in d20 (with all the possible war units of any individual characters you can create, see they represent the majority of a fighting force). Regions of a grid as opposed to static provinces.

Now if my game takes off yours will fail.. but I don't want that cause I love the story. I want us both to gain regency here. I want to work for you.. ([_]
