Nobody goes without weakness, the gorgon surely has a lot of them.
I'm curious to see what are the first that you will think about.

Apparently, rumour has it he cannot leave the Battlewaite because his
power is in some way tied to it.

A good point, but aren't these additionnal domains controlled by vassalage?
That means the local rulers have their own RPs (although part of it go to
the Gorgon itself) and have their own 3 actions per turn (+1 lieutenant
    action).

But the general idea can't be wrong: to defeat the Gorgon or another
powerful enemy, a coalition is necessary. In our campaing, Markazor,s
attacks were defeated for about two years because of the cooperation
between Elinie, Mhoried, Tuarhievel and recently Ghoere.

And the Gorgon must spend time keeping its vassals terrified once in a
while as well, surely. Friendship and alliance in good faith can last a
long while by themselves, but a rule of terror must be constantly
    "maintained".

Well, you know many royal families are a bit..... eccentric, why
would the Roeles have been any different.

Princess Raesene? The Black Princess? Hmmmmm..... ;-)
