Actually BR pretty much is a RPG Wargame. I'll give you its a low impact
Wargame, but its one anyways. I like this because its unique, and lets the
Players switch gaming styles in one session, without having to play a
different game, or, if everyone wants, you can RP all night, or WG all night.

When you start a game I suggest having all your Players be Blooded Regents.
I set all my Players up in one country. Each is Regent of a different type
of Holding. This makes for intense RP. This system has created strong bonds
between my Players, and their Characters. Its almost like we just started
playing AD&D for the first time, again.

Hi all!

I thought of that. But IMHO, I think the Cerilia is not so good setting
for a simple war game. It's too complex to be handled solely as it.
And also it loses it's flavor. Maybe it's better to design your world.
But again, I am not so fond of a simple war game. So I never tried it.

I have just finished the adventure in "Ruins of Empire". There all
my PCs were blooded regents. But I think it's not suitable for a
novice Birthright players. So I have just re-start the campaign
using Roesone domain source book. Here only one PC is a regent
,that is Marlae Roesone, all other players are non-regents though
they are all blooded(All the PCs wanted to get blood ability).
All other non-regent PCs belong to noble families of the roesone
which are described in the forementioned source book.
Thanks for this list, Alistair.
