Presenting... the 5E Guilder

Hi all-

I have posted on the wiki my take on the 5E Guilder. Much flavour text needs to the added and things formatted, but the functional bits are there.

I don't think the Rogue class captures the essence of the Guilder. Rogues are too focused on subterfuge and backstabs, and a guilder does not need to be like that. So i think a new class, rather than an archetype, is justified.

I was roaming the net for BR sources and came up with this doc. Seems to be a well thought & very nicely presented Birthright 5E conversion. It is presented in 5E-like pdg and most importantly it deals with almost everything. Now I don't agree with some parts, and I would definitely want to see what people here believe.

Class and level less skill based system

Conventional (mmo)games have class based+talent character progression
I have been tossing with the idea to throw that all over board and let the player character just have a skill based advancing system.

my thoughts behind this is when you start a character, you start a character from zero. Based on the choices you make when talking to people, the quests you do, the discoveries you make you will learn things as you go and develop your character.
if you have a sole spell caster in mind you might want to stick around doing certain NPC's and do their (dirty) workRead More
