Temias Coumain is the Sacred Broker of the Celestial Jewel of Sarimie.
Like many of the Celestial Jewel's priests, Temias was once a merchant that was down on his luck and believed he was saved by Sarimie herself from losing his last coin in an ill-conceived card game. He entered the priesthood soon after, advocating a doctrine of caution and fair play in business dealings. Temias' writings, collected into a book known as The Wealth of the Empire, advocates the expansion of trade and the guilder class throughout the Anuirean heartlands and notes that all things must be held equal for both sides of a business deal to profit. As such, the Celestial Jewel under his leadership has stepped up its mediation and arbitration of business contracts, lobbied for higher taxes throughout the Anuirean lands, and called on the nobility to only issue strict laws designed to ensure that fair play is upheld and corruption is destroyed.
