[top]Biography:

Susanne Kjetilsdotter is the chief priestess of Narikja in Stjordvik, a role she inherited from her father, Kjetil Olafsson.

Susanne spends most of her time in Hollenvik and Ustkjuvil as most of Narikja's followers are sailors, fishermen, and their wives. Narikja's role as goddess of the sea dominates her role in Stjordvik. Susanne looks to the Oaken Grove of Erik for political leadership and religious authority, and to the Coastal Temple of Nesirie for doctrinal and theological leadership.

Susanne is keenly aware of the trouble in neighboring Dhoesone where the Northern Reformed Church of Sarimie has replaced the worship of Narikja, Erik, and Holn; and in Rjuvik where Fulgar the Bloodhanded has corrupted the people, including the sailors who reject the Fisker Doctrine and hold the Viking Doctrine. In Dhoesone, Susanne would like to send more aid support to Lauriel Riven to win back the people of the sea for Narikja, but her flock is wary of intervention in other realms. Likewise, in Rjuvik, Susanne opposes the Rjurik priest of Narikja, Guntbald Bloodspear, and regrets that Esben Whitecloak tolerates him. Esben has made other regrettable compromises as well.
