Stornomark

Stornomark is a grim, gray city of stone rising from the central taiga. It is surrounded by grazing and farm lands, and its walls contain the great granite palace of Jankaping’s regent. As dissent and dissatisfaction at the King's neglect of tradition and apparent disinterest in tribal ways grow in the land, Stornomark becomes a greater and greater affront to the traditional Rjurik, who see it as a symbol of their loss of freedom and the arrival of strange, foreign ways.
