The Magian appears to have mugged the Chamberlain for his equipment! What should he possess?

The AC seems pretty high ; 48 might be mandatory for a CR 22 encounter but it just feel "tacked on" for a lich, whose natural AC bonus is +5 according to the lich template ; they already get enough immunities and spells to offset being relatively easy to hit, and the Magian is nothing if not a creature to whom the vulgar baseness of physical combat is an abhorrent idea.
