Silver House is the source domain of Clumine Dhoesone. It is named after her residence at the Silver House.

Brunhilde Dhoesone was Court Diviner for the Baron of Dhoesone and she used her magic to help the Baron preserve his realm. She trained her daughter, Clumine Dhoesone herself, rather than turning to another master. Though a computer was recruited to teach Clumine the formal science of astrology.
At a time selected by the elves of Tuarhievel, Fhiele Dhoesone became the Baroness of Dhoesone, and Brunhilde chose to retire in favor of her daughter. Brunhilde had Clumine invested with her domain and regency. Then she retired, living in a small cottage apart from the Barony's castle.

Clumine and her followers might be encountered anywhere in Dhoesone, but are more likely found where Clumine has source holdings. The might be found protecting source holdings or combating enemies of the Barony. Clumine's affiliation would also be a key faction of any civil war in Dhoesone.

Lore: Characters with Gather Information or Knowledge (nobility) can research Clumine's household to learn more about them. When a character succeeds on a skill check, the following information is revealed, including the information from lower DC's.

DC 10: Clumine is a cousin of the Baroness and a rival to her other cousin, Daeric.

DC 15: Clumine is a sorceress, and has source holdings in Dhoesone.

DC 20: Clumine knows Astrology and uses it to predict the future and keep tabs on her enemies.

DC 30: Characters who achieve this level of success can learn important details about Clumine's household including her probable location, any realm spells she might be preparing, and her recommendations to the Baroness.

Clumine is unwed, but has secretly begun an affair with Reynald Hazeltyne a childhood flame who often accompanies her on diplomatic missions for the Baroness. The two have been extremely secretive for the most part for the affair would likely cause great social embarrassment for both but Clumine yearns for companionship and Reynald's mousy wife provides him with little matrimonial comfort.

In order to oppose the influence of the northern Reformed church Clumine regularly scries Larra before festivals and balls to identify the dress the priestess will wear. Clumine then beguiles the servant of a noble to ensure that the noble turns up in a dress similar ? but slightly inferior ? to Larra?s. A number of Dhoesone?s prominent ladies have come to loathe Larra as a result of this ploy.

Freya Bjondrig missed last season's debutante ball, the highlight of the social season and a key 'marriage market' for young nobles of the realm. Clumine discovered that the poor girl has been cursed with boils. Curing the girl would win the favor of her mother and thus weaken Daeric's hold over the count. Clumine just needs to find who cursed the poor girl and how to remove the dweomer.

Clumine is seeking the favor of elementals found in the Crystal Grotto in order to forge a magical sword for the baroness. She has found a number of rare gems that they will like but still needs a flawless ruby and sapphire (representing fire and water) to match her emerald and diamond (earth and air).
