Role-player

This article is an Observation
The contents herein are entirely player made and in no way represent official Birthright history or occurences which are accurate. The characters and events listed are of an independent nature and applied for roleplaying, fictional, speculative, or opinions from a limited playerbase only.

A role-player is someone who plays, or otherwise enjoys, role-playing games ("RPG's"). RPG's are games such as D&D, Earthdawn, Herosystem, GURPS, Palladium, and so on; in which fundamentally one person (the DM) tells an interactive story in which the players take on one or more roles.
Role-players are noted for intelligence, imagination, wit, sociability, sarcasm and geekiness. They are frequently derided by Jocks and others who confuse brute strength and success. Fortunately the days when some religious band-wagoning leaders denounced role-playing games as tools of satan and so on are mostly past, although some dinosaurs still propound their views to the irredeemably credulous.
