Brechtür » Title » König
König (feminine: Königin) is an unusual title among the Brecht for the regent of a realm. The Low Brecht "König" is derived from the High Brecht "kuning". This is probably connected to the old Rjuven word "cyning", and the Rjuven word, "king".
The adjectival prefix "Königliche" means "pertaining to a König" and is typically attached to the word in question. Such as, "Königlicheburg" for the castle of the König.
A König's realm is generally referred to as a Königreich.
