Gold? Silks? Bah! What value is such material dross compared to the wealth of rightousness and morality that will earn one Erik's favor?
Erik be praised, 'tis just as the dream showed me. Ready yourselves men, none of these fools that hast looted Erik's creation escape with their ill-gotten gains.

[top]Biography
Jarl of one of the larger clans of the Sons of Hjalsone, Jaerik does not share the fears and concerns of some of his people ? the good father led them to freedom and Jaerik went from being blacksmith?s apprentice to warrior, war chief, and then jarl as a result.
Jaerik recently came to understand from dreams that it is only right and just that those who harm the land serve those who protect it, and has taken to enslaving goblins and captured merchants and townsfolk who cross his path rather than slaying them.
Following his change in tactics the dreams have come ever more often and Jaerik has become ever more prideful as a result, Erik favors him and those who cross him are clearly therefore not merely fools but clearly heretics.
