Eberhard Helder is the son of Hjalmar Helder and is heir to the lordship of Kolding. His mother is Kolina Sjolfsdotter. He is married to Gretta Aegilsgaard. His twin sons Gilling Helder and Eberhard Helder are noted hunters. His daughter, Vilhjelma Helder, has recently married Osric Ketilsson
In his youth, Eberhard was something of an adventurer, joining a band of friends into the Blood Skull Barony and raiding the camps of goblins and orogs. After a brutal encounter with a band of trolls, Eberhard was badly wounded and has never returned to the north lands. Though still a skilled tracker and naturalist, he spends his middle age at Kolding administering the lands there according to the teachings of Erik.
