Dorian Rieste is the aged Chamberlain of Avanil and Lord of Rieste.
The Chamberlain is tasked with the maintenance of the Prince?s household and serves as something of a gateway to the Prince, overseeing the scheduling of his appointments and the organizer of all court events. Though elderly, he has lost none of his wits. He uses his office to maneuver his sons and daughters into prominent positions and useful marriages. The scope of his power extends far beyond the gates of Caer Daulton. Even now, several of his sons are in a position to inherit minor lands and titles throughout Avanil.
