Biography:
Dherg Wir's father, Asgeir Wir, was a noble champion who is famed for killing the frost giant Snarglbiddle with the sword Frost Brand which he forged himself. Once Asgeir killed the old giant, he was granted the jarldom of Selkhauske.
His son, Dherg, grew up close to the land and gradually become a hero by leading the militia against orog incursions from under the highlands. His advanced abilities in tracking and scouting enemy warbands proved useful, and he has a well-developed tactical mind.
Dherg has filled the heroic mantle of his father capably. He is an able leader and maintains the peace effectivly and fairly. He has great support from the peasantry as well as the favor of the tribes and druids who appreciate the way he regards the land.
In court, Dherg is a schemer who aggressivly pursues personal and dynastic gain. There are critics in the court at Skapa Hjarring who claim Dherg's presumed loyalty to Selkhauske is a perfect facade.
