Berendaen pony

Cerilian horse » Berendaen pony
The Berendaen pony is native to the Berendor River valley, a wet and swampy area which lies between Aerenwe and Osoerde. Gentle, hardy and economical, the Berendaen horse has long been a companion to the farmers of the Eastern Marches. Soldiers have also found them ideal in the wet and muddy Eastern Marches, where the pony's suppleness and surefootedness allow him to manage well where thick mud and soft ground can prove treacherous to other breeds.
As a riding horse, he is equally at ease in the harness or with a rider. His gentle disposition makes him a favorite with young riders but can easily carry an adult also.
The Berendaen pony receives the Sure-Footed Feat for free.
