Description:
Azusena is reportedly the oldest human within the City of Anuire, although she doesn't look a day over 40. What is known, though, is that she has been leading the Royal College of Sorcery for almost a century. Beautiful yet selfish, intelligent yet vain, charming yet arrogant, and slay and devious as a snake, Azusena is a very dangerous woman; few wish to cross this lady. Regents widely belief that Azusena can get anything she wants, and rumors say that she is incapable of failing any undertaking she performs. Local gossip states that she could even seduce the Gorgon into doing her bidding, if she would put her mind to it! Rumours abound about this mysterious woman, yet strangely everybody attests to having no knowledge about her motives or her intentions.

Azusena is the supreme leader of the Royal College of Sorcery - her official title is Magnus Magus Prime. Her word carries weight far mor than any of the other council members, although technically she is their equal. Virtually none of the council members entirely trust her motives, intentions, character or interests… everyone else would be wise not to do so either. Fortunately for the City of Anuire and the rest of Cerilia, her interests are the interests of the college. As Azusena herself has been known to say: "I am quite content with my little corner of the world" (which is usually followed by an alluring smile). Make no mistake, though: Azusena makes it her business to know who her competition is - not only throughout Anuire but in other parts of Cerilia (and Aduria) as well. Azusena isn't afraid to use any means necessary to ensure that other regents bear "her" college or "her" city no ill will.

Azusena acts as the primary liason with the Imperial Cairn and the the Royal Chamberlain, as well as with the other important political, religious or economic agents of Anuire. She also frequently represents the College when dealing with foreign regents, as Jahan el-Tureem and Duraend Soeran are usually busy with other college responsibilities. A master diplomat, and consumate political player, she always seems to get what she wants, and ensures that the College always comes out ahead in any bargain dealing with her institution.

Azusena rarely attends council meetings, but delegates her vote to Morel the Wise or another proxy she grants to sit in her place. She always remains intimately informed of the daily activities within the College, and makes sure that her Council is well supplied with information and intelligence on matters pertaining to the College. As a result of her excellent leadership, the College has prospered over the past century.
