    Sounds fair enough to me. Forests are easy to clear-fell if you can burn
    them out. The Maori deforested much of New Zealand with what was
    essentially neolithic technology.

    I personally think that Brosengae is probably the Duchy and that Taeghas
    is probably the rebellious faction. To my mind colonists for the areas
    around modern-day Avanil probably marched along the coast around the
    peninsular of Brosengae (where the mountains are probably less fierce
    and hard to climb) and then settled the coast of the Miere Rhuann.
