Okay, apologies upfront: The following link may be useless to most people on the list as the contents is entirely and solely in German. However, I do believe that some of you guys can speak this language, and if you can this link will really be worth it.

I stumbled onto the site by sheer chance while doing some research about medieval sword-making technologies for a friend of mine. Among other things you`ll find here:

- an extensive chronology of the middle ages (c. 400-1600 AD)
- a huge database detailing medieval weapons and weapon-making techniques
- an essay about castles and castle life
- a complete RPG system, absolutely free for download (haven`t checked this out yet, but the description sounds interesting)
