Hi! It would realy interest me, what you think of the new servant of the sea prestige class (see prestige classes).

As I said already, it is one of 10 prestige classes originally posted on a german homepage. Every deity (sorry, but apart from Eric) has a specific prestige class there. If you like it, I can post the others too...

    Please comments...

Can you post a link to that page please, that way anyone who speaks German can see what changes were made in the translation.

It's the best interpretation of a cleric of Nesrie I've seen for quite some time.
Vorstokov was once a realm, until it fell into the hands of an unblooded regent.

I notice that a character must have identified an item made by Masetians
correctly to join the Servant of the Sea PrC. Since Masetian artifacts
would be very rare (or non-existant) in the Siren` realm, I assume the CTN
maintains a reliquary (temples of Nesirie are said to preserve Masetian
relics) and the tests are done with these items?

The Servant can remove fear affects at will (at 5th level). This in effect
makes the whole Haelyn, Cuiraecen, Nesirie family unit as a bulwork against
fear. Haelyn`s priests (whether by Domain, or special class) have a +2 save
bonus against fear. Cuiraecen`s priests and followers are just enjoined to
be fearless, and no doubt procure magical aids to wit. I have nothing
against rounding out the happy family with power over fear, but I would not
extend power over fear to Avani if I gave it to Nesirie, and I`d rather see
Avani`s servants reason their way out of fear. I do like the power over
hopelessness. One power she may have (thinkng Rjurik again) is the ability
to supress a rage, especially those casued by dooms that are activated by
    some kind of loss.

I notice the class has pretty good control over water in terms of the priest
herself. But, I don`t see much in the way of leading others with regard to
water. No Intuit Direction on the water bonus, bless boat (+1 competance on
all skill checks for one hour, or one hour per class level, &c), mass swim
bonuses (for speed or ability), communication with sea creatures or animal
companion (a sea bird is probably the most easily facilitated), bonus to
Balance checks made on board ship, and maybe the Jonah-power; you can summon
a whale to swollow you if cast off a ship which will spit you out at a
convienient shore location. Some or all of these might better suit another
PrC of Neserie, but suggestions none the less.

Looks like a nifty PrC, if perhaps a touch under-powered.

I said, an item (needn't to be an artefact). If you have a better idea to restrict this prestige class, but to let priests of Nesirie choose it, say it!

Do you think, it should be only hopelessness? It was given to them to better the loss of a deceased. May be, it should be restrcited only to this...

May be, for your ideas about ship-leading it can be a second prestige class.

    These classes rock .... :)

I know them already from the german-page - they are the first priest-prestige classes which came out for the 3. Edition, a long time before the FR-prestige classes were presented.

In that sense they are compatible and comparable to the official 3.Edition standard.

Such people make our Birthright game alive....
my purpose is now to lead you into the Pallace where you shall have a clear and delightful view of all those various objects, and scattered excellencies, that lye up and down upon the face of creation, which are only seen by those that go down into the Seas, and by no other....
