I was wondering if there was any extra information regarding Elinie in other books aside from Ruins of Empire? I putting together a small guide and any cannon material would be great.

No, unfortunately there is nothing official published concerning Elinie.

Also there is no unofficial version around (as I know so far).

If I remember correctly, Elinie was mentioned in the novel The Falcon and the Wolf. According to a chronicle of Cerilia in an issue of Dragon, Elinie was occupied by Ghoeran troops for some time.

Kappenkriaucheran, you wouldn't happen to remember what was said about Elinie would you in Falcon and the Wolf?

There is also some unofficial info in French about a lot of Anuire realms (including Elinie and the Points East Trading Guild) in:

    http://olivierdias.chez.tiscali.fr/br/birth.htm

This guy has written an impressive guide of all the Anuirean domains recommended for player characters and not described in a Player Secrets Sourcebook. The files about Aerenwe and Sielwode are specially good, and maybe better that some official sourcebooks. If you can read french, check it.

I´m not sure but I think that the occupation of Elinie was the only thing mentioned; the story takes place in Mhoried and the Shadow World. You can check it out yourself by downloading the book as a pdf file (I don´t have it anymore):

French? What a pity, I never had any talent for that language :) .

I decided to give my French a try;) . Unfortunately, neither MSWord2000 nor Wordpad seem to be able to read the docs.
Does it work for you guys?

Hey, the material from Darkstar´s Aduria site is included (txt format), that´s nice.
