    1998 Revised Birthright Setting

There was an aborted revision of the Birthright Campaign setting to be published as a ]hardback book scheduled for release in 1998. Have the revisions proposed for the setting ever been discussed? Seems like the logical person to ask would be Ed Stark. Does anyone know if he is active on any forums these days?

Toward the end, TSR was republishing some of its boxed sets as hardbacks. I've seen the Council of Wyrms hardback, and it didn't appear to differ substantially from the boxed set. At a guess, this was when TSR was in dire straights, financially, and doing these books was extremely cheap because the content already existed and was just being reprinted. I don't think there would have been any substantial revisions.

Yeah I remember reading somewhere that the boxed set model of distribution was too expensive to continue so they were going to redo things as books that were previously released as boxed sets. I do doubt there was any new information like said about the Council of Wyrms.

I guess this illustration was made for that 1998 revision. Probably for blood enemies.
    Another version of "The lamia".
