Any idea when this`ll be resolved? 5 days seems like an awfully long time
    for a DNS host move.

Is there an IP we can use in the mean time? :P

well the DNS was moved in no time :-)

yesterday i had contact with flip and he told me that the current data
center had some kind of power supply problem and did not dare to start up
the server. I could fry the HD..

until that, there is little i can do

just spoken to chris again.. he hes going to turn on things tonight....

    cheers

Thanks for the info. The thing about computers is that apparently
they don`t work right all the time. But, hey, at least they don`t go
Star Trek homicidal on a regular basis. At least, not yet....

I have the first installment of (at least) three texts ready. This
series is going to be nicely formatted and relatively edited versions
of the awnsheghlien and ersheghlien I`ve written up over the
years. So far, I`ve got _Legendary Beings 1: The Darklords_ ready to
go. I`ll post it when Birthright.net comes back.

The next installment is going to be either _Legendary Beings: Foul
Beasts_ or _Legendary Beings: Creatures of Light_. I`m working on
both, so it just depends on which attracts more of my attention
first. As time goes on, maybe there will be a LB4, LB5, etc. I do
have notes for a LOT more awnies and ershies.

overnight i received another email from chris:

    *sigh*

    So, there are a couple of virtual machines that are theoretically alive;
problem is, the networking on them is all screwed up, and I can`t actually
get anything _done_ ... and Bryan is out of pocket until Monday morning, it
    seems.

For something that was supposed to have been a simple move, this has gone
pretty badly; I`m sorry about that. I wish I`d had some advanced notice so
that I could have gotten a recent backup of everything on a local server,
but at the moment, all I`ve got is on a virtual machine I can`t actually get
    to at the moment. *sigh*

    cheers
