    Five Peaks the incomplete realm.

Every realm in Anuire has a regent,a lieutnant, some holdings.
Some realms like Gorgon's Crown,Markazor,Mur Kilad,Spiderfell cannot be threated with diplomacy, because they ruler is evil, but for the other side are "normal" realm.
But Five Peaks is too strange! It has only the regent, one castle and no holding! It has goblin troops but is a human kingdom!

Not sure what you mean here.

The Five Peaks has no single regent. Each province is in fact it's own realm, with it's own ruler and lieutenants and politics.

It's a splintered bunch of provinces. Some populated by brigands and scoundrels, others by goblins and orogs. It's an undeveloped, chaotic region where only the desperate or foolhardy tread.

I see the Five Peaks as put aside by the game-makers as a place similar to the Giantdowns, the wild areas of Vosgaard and the Tarvan Waste: empty spots in which to forge a kingdom (if you desire) or places from which "raiders" emerge periodically to ravage nearby lands.

The Five Peaks remains wild, but is filled with various dangerous beings: the Eyeless One, the dragon Lifesbane (see the Dragon Magazine #230), the exiles from Thurazor (their king sends his more violent subjects here), the Stonecrown Ogres and miscellaneous other humanoid tribes, not to mention criminals fleeing all of the nations of Anuire. It is a place for plots (like the Warlock of the Stonecrowns) and troublemakers to bedevil Tournen, Talinie, Boeruine, Mhoried, Cariele, Thurazor and Dhoesone.

Another interesting note: all of the Player's Secrets realms in Anuire are near some sort of wild spot that wrecks ocassional havoc upon the characters and is a source of adventures and (maybe) expansion: Endier, Medoere, Roesone and Ilien are near the Spiderfell and the pirates of the Aerele Straights, while Talinie and Tuornen border the Five Peaks.

All of the PS realms also have a powerful "villain" realm that they cannot easily beat but must maneuver around: Endier and Roesone face Ghoere, Tuornen is against Alamie (and is stuck between the two big guys), Talinie is under the thumb of Boeruine and Medoere and Ilien (admittedly to a lesser extent) are threatened by Diemed.

But isn't The Wizard the only Five Peaks's regent in Birthright the Gorgon's Alliance?

I don't know about the computer game, but in core Birthright, the Five Peaks is home to a wizard known as the Eyeless One. He controls all the sources of the Five Peaks. He is not the ruler of the whole territory though.

This does not mean their aren't other regents, just no one who extends influence over any sizable portion of the region.

Yes, but then B:tGA also has a lot fewer regents than canon. They had to simplify to make it work a bit.

In our game we have goblinoid cheiftains ruling each province for the most part and they all pay a tribute to the Eyeless to keep him happy, lest they end up crispy fried goblins. lol. Each one has their own little horde of troops etc, which makes the 5 Peaks difficult to conquer, but not too hard, since several in roads have allready been made there, its just not easy to do.

In the computer game The Wizard is attached to the 5 peaks and so is the Eyeless one. I think its to go with the whole 'are they the same person thing' that is in RoE.
O hark, O hear! How thin and clear,
    And thinner, clearer, farther going!
O sweet and far from cliff and scar
The Horns of Sielwode faintly blowing!

I don't know how many people over the years have been caught into the BR:TGA is the same as BR the Role Playing Game.

The computer game was very good, especially for its time, but it was only a computer game. At that time it was impossible to capture all of the detail that was in the RPG into a DOS game (it was a DOS Win 95) game after all)

I've had a friend insist that well it works that way in the computer game then it should work that way in the table top one too. He lost that plea, by the way.

Rule of advice for anyone take what is in the computer game with a grain of salt. It does a pretty good job of capturing the "feel" of the table top but it could not capture all of the details and intricacies of the actual game and setting. It is merely a "simulation" of the game and should be put into that perspective.

Same concept as the mechs I made in table-top Battletech that owned, overheated and exploded and never had enough ammo when I translated them straight into Mechwarrior on the PC. Damnable AutoCannon 20's
