Intermittent connections to BR.Net have been a problem for me lately...is it something on my end?

i received jan 10th the following message from flip

finally discovered that part of the reason mysql keeps getting killed is because the virtual system is running out of ram -- it's actually apache that ends up taking up all the ram, but mysql is the single largest process, so that's what gets killed.
apache ends up taking lots of ram when, say, google, wants to crawl an entire site on the system
And I realized that I didn't have much of anything in the way of swap space set up.
I massively increased the size of the swap space, so it should be good at this point --
