A very interesting set of arms. I wonder how do you describe them. Was this based on a particular source?

Oh right. With all the change in republics etc in the last 20 years my flag knowledge is out of date. But I like it and the art used for El-Tasri. They certainly have less of the Western European feel.
The problem with flags is that they don't always seem to follow heraldic rules, or if they do, they become very complex.
