    Haltangabben

According to the HotGB, Haltengabben( roughly translated as stand and deliver ????) is the name of the high priestess of Éla in Grabentod.
If i remember the "Deutch" right halt means stop and gabben= to get.
Can wee do something about this name, i feel like idiot every time i need to pronounce it ???

She is known only as Haltangabben, presumably to people outside her inner circle, people outside the guild, something like that. Give her a proper Brecht name and then make it clear on her page that she is known as Haltangabben.

There are several guilders who keep their true identities secret and only go by some obviously invented identity. A priestess of thieves fits right in.

Like 'robin hood' translates as 'robbing hoodlum'?

I'd see her name as either a title or a nickname used to conceal her true identity. Somehow I can't see a mother calling her kid halterngraben - although given some of the names bestowed by the victorians it isn't so bad...

Calamus or calami is a reed, stalk, pen or pipe. I believe that you're after calamitosus, which means disastrous, ruined or blighted.

Instead of 'stop and chat' which may be accurate but lacks the underlying threat.
