D&D 4e? The version I'm putting up is D&D 3.5. I don't have 4e, and I'm not going to buy 4e. So, I'm scratching my head . . .

We don't have any useful way to represent BR type characters in 4e, stick with 3.5 for the indefinite future.

Sorry... there were bits I have never seen before in reference to 3.5 so I thought that you were trying to indicate that it had a 4e Warlock class... will fix.

A few language bits to quibble with, more on NPCs than on this character:
- "Stanisslav" is that the canon spelling? I don't think I've ever seen a Slavic name or word with the double-S in it.
- "Amirah bint Isilviere" shouldn't be the wife of an Isilviere, as I'm pretty sure "bint" is Arabic for "daughter of." Unless the paladin married a cousin?
- And shouldn't Nesirie paladins all be female?

About Elton Isilviere being a male paladin of Nesirie....
Yes, the "canon" rule is that only females are such paladins, but would I be right in saying that this Elton is a personal project/PC for our Elton Robb, and that is why they share a portrait? If so, then I suspect House rules/Campaign rules came in and made Elton an exception to the canon rule.
Sorontar,
whose other backup character is a male ex-sailor who he would love to have been able to make a paladin of Nesirie

I set up the pages of the sword mage candidates, so I spelled it with two ss's. I thought that's was Elton asked for, and didn't worry about the non-standard nature, since its a Vos name, not actually Russian. But I'm happy to assume I got it wrong.
I moved the page and changed the name on the identities page.
As for Arabic naming, I like this link from the SCA.

This would suggest she might be Amirah al-Isilviere (of the house of Isilviere) though we conventionally link women with their maiden names.Last edited by kgauck; 08-27-2008 at 05:09 AM.

I'm not sure what her Khinasi maiden name would be.

Something like 'Amirah bint-(father's first name)', according to the article cited above, or something related to her family's home or occupation.
