    Alliene Tilgentor

    Discussion thread for Alliene Tilgentor.

Good lord, what is going on with Alliene's picture? That is so wildly varying from the quality of the other portraits that it looks almost amateurish. No offence intended, Kenneth, but did you run out of famous/not-so-famous faces to Photoshop in?

No. I just didn't have any problems with the drawing from the Ilien book.

What don't you like about it?

Well, I don't really see a problem with cartoonish pictures myself... it kinds of permits extrapolation for other people.

I don't have the Ilien book, so can you post the original image here?

There's too much turquoise, which clashes with her red hair, and the art piece itself looks somewhat rushed. If that's the original artwork, TSR must have been employing artists with vastly differing styles and skills.

That's the original black and white image. The colors are mine. I like the contrast of the red head in tourquise (priestess of ETN).

And yes they did employ artists with radically different styles.
