    Brnet down?

    Hallo Arjan,

I couldn`t access Birthright.net for about 24 hours now, the connection
always fails. I`ve encountered this problem several times before during
the last weeks, but never for so long. I don`t have any problems
accessing any other site, so I don`t think it`s a problem on my part.

I also didn`t receive anything via the Br-list, so I guess br-net is
    down for whatever reason.
I hope this can be fixed soon.

Arjan doesn`t normally get email from the BR list directly, so I
doubt he`s seen this message. I`ll email him directly and see if I
    can find out what`s up.

actually i do ... BUT i am registered with my birthright.net account.. so when the server is down, i am not getting emails either.

i have contacted flip to see whats wrong.
i do see in the geust-who-s-online list that some guys are trying to get remote control again, i dunno if thats the cause, but its some kind of coincidence

Well, it seems to be working again. I hope it stays that way and while I'm at it thanks for all the work you put in here over the years, Arjan.
As for contacting you, I did not have your email and thought I would reach someone who in turn could reach you via the list.

Well, it did work out, thanks, Gary.

I got a response back from flip (athas.org and server owner)
It seems the apache server is creating tons of zombie processes that wont
    stop.
He has to go over the logs to see what is going on in order to fix the
    problem.
Unfortunately that is out of my reach.
So ill be crossing fingers too

    Cheers
    Arjan
