I am confused. The page on Mieres discusses the corrupt Governor Arron Vaumel from Seaward and that his law doesn't really extend to Albiele Island. However, this page on Albiele town mentions one known as the Governor being in charge, living on the island and no-one knows his true name.

Are there two Governors? Or is this just the wiki being out-of-sync? Arjan, where did the Albiele Island stuff come from?

I don't know where the original information came from, but it tallies with my opinion that Albiele is actually ruled by a secretive proto-awnshegh who claims rulership over the isle and whom is most certainly not Arron Vaumel.

Ius Hibernicum, in nomine juris. Quidquid latine dictum sit, altum sonatur.

There was no "post" as such that I know of. Arjan added the original wiki pages for Albiele Island I believe (according to their history), which is why I sort of directed this question to him. I don't believe it was created by him though. However, I hoped that some of the rest of you might know something about Mieres and Albiele and might point me in the right direction.

I assumed that a similar title was used (Albeile copying its larger neighbour, or having formerly been a colony itself) but that different people were referenced.

The original post might be buried in the br.net archives somewhere - a lot of the initial stuff was dredged off the old forums.

Sort of. I think I found out where the Albiele Island stuff originated. It was the work of Peter Hodge.

Sorry to those who don't have access to that part of the forum.

It doesn't quite answer my Governor question but I gather that the Mieres one is more canon than the Albiele one. Unfortunately the br.net downloads no longer has the Fan-built PS of Mieres.
