    Question Excel Sheets...

    Heya, all.

Not all of us have made the leap into 3.5ed quite yet.
My current game, that I'm DMing, has been running since Birthright came out, and converting to 3.5ed now is definitely NOT an option. A question came up last play session though; although we play exclusively with paper/pencils/dice the old fashioned way, character sheets in Excel/other spreadsheet app would be really, really useful.

I've seen several both character and domain sheets put up in the download section for 3.5 ed, but has anyone made equivalent sheets for good ole' 2nd ed AD&D ? Anyone care to share those with an experienced DM, with no Excel skills whatsoever ?

I have a floppy at home with my old excel domain tracking files on it.

I'll have to bring it to work to post though, my home PC won't read floppies anymore.

It was a fairly decent one that kept track by PC and province with cross links so that information only had to be entered once and then fed each PC's sheet.

    That would be sweet !
We are playing this forthcoming saturday, and I know that my players would be very happy if I could fulfill their request...

Anything to keep your players happy until you crush their dreams in the merciless dungeons...

(which is, what will happen on saturday. Arron Vaumel of Mieres ? Half-Demon. And more...)

Excel Domain Sheets for 2nd ed.

Here are some that used in my old (very) game.

Those using e-mail will need to go to the board (www.birthright.net) to get the uploaded files (part of this post).

My game was designed around Southern Anuire so I only put in the applicable domains.

I would enter the "master" information on the province sheet and via links it would populate the appropriate player's sheet.

I would then send them "their" sheet.

It shouldn't be too difficult to look at the various formulas and custom create the ones you would need.

This was in an old version of excel ('95 or so) so the more recent versions can do a whole lot more if desired.

There is also a sheet that would perform random rolls for me.

Merely type a number anywhere on the sheet and all of the random rolls would be redone.
