Birthright using Castles and Crusades rules

Has anyone here considered running or actually run a Birthright campaign using the Castles and Crusades RPG rules?

I've debated it. The simplicity of C&C can be very nice, but in some ways it's too simple. There just can't be a lot of difference between individuals within a class with the core rules. I think adding 2nd Ed proficiencies is a good idea, and maybe giving each class a way to distribute their abilities- not just +1 for everything at every level.

But for the most part, a Birthright port to C&C ought to be fairly easy.
