Virtual $100 forwarded to Lawgiver's imaginary account ;)

My point is that $100 isn't a lot for the three core rulebooks. They are all you are going to need - we have all the BR stuff already :) You could even share with you friends...
I assure you the acccount is quite real. :P

If you spent $100 to buy the PHB, DMG and monstorous manual you got robbed. Never ever, ever, ever pay retail prices! If you don't use ebay go to http://www.bestbookbuys.com its the ultimate site for low book prices (esp. college text books!). its a search engine that hits of the top book selling sites and gives you a list of the lowest prices (new and used). Several new ones for under $20.
Even Amazon has the PHB and DMG in a package deal for $42 w/o shipping.

I still say ebay all the way. I got my PHB and DMG, BRAND NEW, for $27 plus about $6 in shipping. Can't beat $33 for both (too often anyway).

Well, internet beats them all. If you don't mind the electronic format at least ;)

Internet is fine till you need them in a game session. By the time you print the suckers you may as well have bought them for the cost in a new inkcartridge!

Unless you can print them for free of course :) (god bless the university, its T3 connection and its laser printer)
